About Loop
Loop Earplugs was started in 2016 by childhood friends Dimitri O. and Maarten Bodewes. Both loved live music and nightlife, and both lived with tinnitus. After trying the earplugs on the market and finding them disappointing, they built their own, and the first pair of Loop earplugs was made in Dimitri's mother's garage. The brand has since moved well past nightlife. By its own account, Loop now designs sensory solutions for sleep, focus, commuting, parenting and everyday noise overload, and it has been recognized with the "Most Sustainable Growth" award at the Deloitte Technology Fast 50.
Loop's range is built around the idea of lowering noise without shutting a person off from the room. Loop Experience 2 is its concert and events plug, Loop Switch 2 adds an adjustable dial for volume control, Loop Quiet 2 targets everyday noise, and Loop Dream is a sleep-specific design. Four of its plugs earned places across our concert, musician, airplane and sleeping ear plug reviews, with the Experience 2 in two of them and the Quiet 2 in two more.
