About Stander
Stander is a family-owned mobility and safety equipment company founded in 1998 in Logan, Utah, by Jan Miller. The company traces its origin to Miller's grandmother Essie, who wanted to keep living independently at home but found the mobility aids available at the time sterile and institutional, so Miller and her husband designed Stander's first products to help her age in place safely.
