About Jarrow Formulas
Jarrow Formulas was founded in 1977 in Los Angeles and is now headquartered in Chatsworth, California. Its supplements are manufactured by sister company Jarrow Industries at a cGMP-certified facility in Santa Fe Springs, California, and the catalog spans more than 400 products across probiotics and digestive health, B-vitamins and other methylated nutrients, amino acids and antioxidants, and mineral formulas. The brand introduced Jarro-Dophilus in 1986, one of the first multi-strain probiotics sold through the natural-products retail channel, and brought SAMe to the US market in 1999.
Jarrow Formulas is cGMP-certified by NSF International, and its products are tested by third-party laboratories accredited to ISO and USDA standards to verify label accuracy. In 2020 the company was acquired by New Mountain Capital and now operates alongside Natrol as part of Vytalogy Wellness.
