About Pride Mobility
Pride Mobility Products Corporation has designed and manufactured power wheelchairs, scooters, and lift chairs since 1986, when the Meuser and Kretchik families began building lift chair recliners in Pittston, Pennsylvania. The company entered the scooter market in 1992 with the Shuttle series, then introduced the Jazzy Power Chair in 1996, one of the first mid-wheel drive designs built specifically for tight indoor maneuverability. In 2000, Pride formed Quantum Rehab, a dedicated division for complex rehabilitation power chairs and custom seating systems. The company is now headquartered in a purpose-built facility in Duryea, Pennsylvania, with additional operations across the US and internationally in Canada, the UK, Australia, China, and several other countries.
Every Pride power chair, scooter, and lift chair is an FDA-listed medical device tested to ANSI/RESNA standards covering product stability, braking effectiveness, fatigue and impact strength, and electromagnetic compatibility before it ships. Pride backs its products with a 3-year limited frame warranty and 2-year coverage on electronics, drive motors, and batteries. The current lineup spans from ultralight, airline-compliant travel products like the carbon-fiber Jazzy Carbon series to Medicare Group 2-qualifying clinical power chairs such as the Jazzy 600 ES, covering a wide range of mobility needs and budgets.

Pride Mobility products we rated highly
Pride Mobility Go-Go Sport S74 4-Wheel Electric Mobility Scooter
EZ Turn technology gives this 4-wheel scooter the tight turning radius of a 3-wheel model, solving the usual stability-versus-maneuverability trade-off. Its 325 lb weight capacity is the highest in the Go-Go travel line, and it disassembles into 5 pieces with the heaviest at 44 lbs for trunk-friendly transport without a vehicle lift.

Active-Trac ATX Suspension keeps all 6 wheels in contact with uneven terrain, and its Group 2 classification qualifies for Medicare and insurance coverage for eligible users who meet DME clinical criteria.

Pride Mobility Jazzy Carbon Power Chair
A carbon fiber frame weighing just 39 lbs without the battery, 43.6 lbs with it, makes this one of the lightest full-function power chairs we tested, while still carrying a 300 lb weight capacity. It folds compactly for car trunk storage and is airline-compliant for gate-checking, with a 24-inch turning radius tighter than most folding power chairs.
