About Pembrook
Pembrook is a diabetic and compression sock company headquartered in Austin, Texas. According to the story on its own website, the business began in 1976 in Dayton, Ohio, as a local apparel maker with retail stores and its own cutting and sewing facility. Scott Dyer acquired the company in 2012, renamed it Pembrook, and turned it into an e-commerce brand focused on diabetic and compression socks. Its customers include people living with diabetes, neuropathy or edema, as well as nurses, frequent flyers and anyone on their feet all day.
On BestRatedDocs, two Pembrook products earned a place in our guides. The Bamboo Viscose Light Compression Socks (8-15 mmHg, three pairs) appear in our guide to compression socks for travel, and the Ankle Diabetic Socks (six pairs) appear in our guide to diabetic socks. Pembrook explains compression levels and diabetic sock features in plain language through its Sock School pages, and it states a satisfaction guarantee on its purchases.
