About NeilMed
NeilMed Pharmaceuticals was founded in January 2000 by Ketan C. Mehta, MD, and Nina Mehta, starting out of Dr. Mehta's medical office. The company is based in Santa Rosa, California, and builds its catalog around nasal and sinus care: saline sinus rinse kits, the NasaFlo neti pot, pulsating nasal wash devices, saline sprays, a nasal decongestant, and a nasal moisturizer.
Six NeilMed products appear in our neti pot review, and between them they cover most of the ways people irrigate: a squeeze bottle kit, a ready-to-use premixed bottle, a plastic gravity pot, a porcelain pot, a pediatric kit, and an adjustable-speed pulsating unit. What ties them together is that the brand takes the two things beginners get wrong, saline concentration and delivered pressure, and builds them into the product. Premixed packets fix the salt level, a squeezable bottle lets you set the pressure by hand, and the packaging states the water-safety rule plainly.

The BestRatedDocs Top Brand recognition isn't paid for and can't be applied for. We award it to the brands whose products consistently stand out in our category reviews. NeilMed products we rated highly
NeilMed Sinus Rinse Complete Sinus Nasal Rinse Kit, 50 Premixed Packets
A squeeze bottle kit that gets both of the usual beginner problems right. Premixed packets remove the chance of mixing saline at the wrong concentration, and squeeze delivery lets you set pressure and volume with your hand instead of relying on head tilt. The directions printed on the box specify distilled, filtered, or previously boiled water, and the formulation is free of preservatives, iodine, and latex.

NeilMed SinuFlo Ready Rinse, 8 fl oz
A squeeze bottle that arrives as a premixed solution, so there is no water to boil, measure, or cool. It is listed as free of BPA, drugs, iodine, gluten, and latex, and it is compact enough to keep in a bag or desk drawer. A low-effort way to see whether irrigation suits you.

NeilMed NasaFlo Neti Pot
A true gravity neti pot in plastic, so it handles a drop onto a bathroom floor better than porcelain. The listing states plainly to use distilled, micro-filtered, bottled, or previously boiled and cooled water and not untreated tap water, and it comes with illustrated instructions.

NeilMed Classic Porcelain Neti Pot with 30 Premixed Packets
A glazed porcelain pot that ships with 30 premixed saline packets, so a first-time ceramic buyer does not have to measure salt by hand. The non-porous body is easy to rinse clean, and the packet supply is large enough to settle into a routine before reordering.

NeilMed Sinus Rinse Pediatric Complete Kit, 60 Premixed Packets
A squeeze bottle kit dosed and sized for children aged 2 and up rather than a relabeled adult kit, with 60 premixed packets in the box. It is medication-free, so it can sit alongside whatever a pediatrician has already prescribed. Check with the child's pediatrician before starting.

NeilMed HydroPulse Neo Multi-Speed Electric Pulsating Nasal Sinus Irrigation System
A pulsating irrigator with adjustable speed, so you can start gently and raise the pressure as you get used to it. A wand-style handpiece means you hold a light tip to your face instead of the whole unit, 30 premixed packets come in the box, and the listing carries explicit distilled, bottled, boiled, or filtered water instructions.

- Premixed saline packets fix the salt concentration, which takes away the most common reason people try nasal rinsing once and quit.
- Squeeze bottle kits let you control pressure and volume with your hand instead of relying on head angle alone.
- The packaging and listings for the NasaFlo pot, the Sinus Rinse kit, and the HydroPulse Neo state the water-safety rule clearly, covering distilled, filtered, or previously boiled and cooled water.
- One brand covers several formats we reviewed: a squeeze bottle, a premixed ready-to-use bottle, plastic and porcelain gravity pots, a pediatric kit, and a pulsating electric unit.
- A pediatric kit sized for children aged 2 and up gives families an option built for smaller nasal passages instead of a scaled-down adult bottle.
