About MaryRuth Organics
MaryRuth Organics was founded in 2014 in Los Angeles by MaryRuth Ghiyam, a certified health educator and nutritional consultant, after clients repeatedly told her that swallowing a vitamin capsule first thing in the morning left them nauseated. That feedback led to the company's first two products, a liquid morning multivitamin and a liquid nighttime multimineral, and set the template the brand has followed since: vegan, non-GMO formulations in liquid, gummy, and spray formats built for people who struggle with pills, including young kids.
The company has grown from a family-run startup into a nationally distributed supplement brand carried by major retailers, and in 2024 private equity firm Butterfly Equity sold its stake back to the Ghiyam family with additional financing from King Street, a transaction covered by Kirkland & Ellis and Business Wire as validation of the brand's scale. MaryRuth Organics runs dedicated probiotic and kids' product lines, and its supplements are formulated to be USDA Certified Organic where the line allows, with several products carrying Clean Label Project certification for independent contaminant testing.

Why we recognized MaryRuth Organics
The BestRatedDocs Top Brand recognition isn't paid for and can't be applied for. We award it to the brands whose products consistently stand out in our category reviews. MaryRuth Organics earned it on the strength of the products below, evaluated the same way every product on this site is: assessed against clinical criteria, verified specifications, and real-world user outcomes, and judged on merit.
MaryRuth Organics products we rated highly
MaryRuth Organics Kids Probiotic Gummies
USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified, a certification pair few kids' gummies in our lineup carry together. The pectin base (rather than gelatin) works for vegetarian and vegan households, and the named strain, Bacillus subtilis DE111, is a spore former with published human data rather than an undisclosed proprietary blend. A 60-count bottle at one gummy per day runs a full two months, the longest supply of any gummy we reviewed in this category, and it carries a 4.8-star rating across roughly 2,900 verified ratings in our research.

MaryRuth's Iron Gummies with Vitamin C, 60 Count
A gummy format built for patients who dislike swallowing pills, paired with vitamin C, which helps convert non-heme iron into its more absorbable ferrous form. The formula uses chelated ferrous bisglycinate, is sugar-free (avoiding the added sugar common in most gummy supplements), and is vegan-certified, combining a gentler iron form with an easier-to-tolerate format.
