About TriggerPoint
TriggerPoint is a self-massage and recovery brand, and its US site is run by Implus LLC in Durham, North Carolina. The company says it has spent about three decades developing mobility and recovery tools through a process rooted in scientific research and validated by athletes, coaches and trainers. The name comes from trigger point therapy, a massage approach that applies direct pressure to tight, sensitive spots in muscle, which its rollers, massage balls and handheld tools are designed to let people do on their own.
Its signature design is the patented GRID pattern, which the brand says replicates a massage therapist's hands in three ways: flat areas like the palm for large muscles, tubular ridges that knead like fingers, and dense nodules for targeted pressure like fingertips. TriggerPoint builds the GRID 1.0 as EVA foam over a hollow core and lists a one-year warranty on it. Two of its rollers appear in our foam roller guide.

Why we recognized TriggerPoint
The BestRatedDocs Top Brand recognition isn't paid for and can't be applied for. We award it to the brands whose products consistently stand out in our category reviews. TriggerPoint earned it on the strength of the products below, evaluated the same way every product on this site is: assessed against clinical criteria, verified specifications, and real-world user outcomes, and judged on merit.
TriggerPoint products we rated highly
TriggerPoint GRID 1.0 Foam Roller, 13-Inch
In our testing, this roller stood out as the one tool that covers most of the body. Its three-zone surface lets you work a sensitive hamstring on the flat section and a dense glute on the nodules without switching tools, and the EVA foam over a hollow core stays firm under body weight rather than sagging in the middle. At 13 inches it fits a gym bag or carry-on, and the hollow center holds small items like socks or a mini band. TriggerPoint also lists it as supporting up to 300 pounds.

TriggerPoint CORE Foam Roller, 18-Inch
A solid-core EVA roller with a gentle multi-density grid, which gives some texture without the bite of the GRID 1.0. In our reviews it suited Pilates and yoga moves and people moving up from a soft roller. Solid EVA resists the softening that polypropylene rollers develop over time, and the 18-inch length works for most muscle groups.
