About Bodylastics
Bodylastics USA Inc. makes stackable resistance band sets built around latex tubes with clip-on handles, ankle straps and anchors. Its About page traces the stackable, clip-together design to the 1990s and says it has been selling stackable sets since 1998. The company describes itself as American based, owned and operated, and backs the sets with an exercise library on its site and a companion workout app.
Each band carries an inelastic cord inside the tube, which Bodylastics calls its snap reduction design. By the company's account the cord limits how far a band can stretch, and it is meant to help keep a band from flying toward the face or limbs if a tube does break. The tubes are dipped from liquid latex in repeated layers, and the handles, ankle straps and anchors use thick woven nylon webbing. Bodylastics lists its sets in Basic and Pro Series, from five bands up to sixteen, including a six band Pro Series set that stacks to a combined 280 pounds of rated tension.

Bodylastics products we rated highly
Bodylastics Pro Series Resistance Band Set, 6 Bands with Handles, Ankle Straps, Door Anchor, Snap-Reduction Tech
A top pick in our resistance band reviews. The Pro Series stacks six tube bands to a combined 280 pounds of rated tension, with handles, ankle straps, a door anchor and a carry bag. That kit turns a tube set into cable-style rows, presses and pulldowns plus standing leg work. An inner safety cord runs through each tube, a design intended to limit recoil if a tube fails.
